For schools across West Africa

Running your school, right through the days without a connection

Marks, report cards, absences, fees, accounting and payroll — in one piece of software, in French. It runs on our cluster, on your server, or on a machine sitting in your school.

The Dón dashboard: enrolled pupils, amount still to collect, payments over the year and headcount per class.

Opening a school?

Nothing is charged when you sign up. First we agree, then you pay, then we sign the licence.

The product

What the school gets out of it

Report cards come out printed

Marks entry, averages by subject and by coefficient, class rank, remarks. A report card is frozen once issued: reopening a term does not rewrite what families were handed.

The school knows who has paid, and who owes

Payment schedules per pupil, receipts, arrears and reminders. The school uploads ITS OWN QR codes and payment links — Orange Money, Wave, Moov — and the parent pays the school directly. Cash remains one means among others, with its receipt.

Roll call, absences and excuse notes

Roll-call register, absences by period, excuse notes filed by the family from a phone. The school office accepts or refuses — the portal decides nothing.

Families follow along from their phones

A parent sees marks, absences, homework and what is left to pay, without calling the office. They see their own children and no one else's, and that rule is checked on every screen.

The books balance, in double entry

Journal, general ledger, chart of accounts, itemised budgets and recurring expenses. Staff payroll comes out of the same place as the takings.

A school group sees its schools together

Several schools in a single installation, each with its own identity on report cards, and a head office that sees enrolment and collection across all of them at a glance.

Offline first

A network outage does not stop a lesson

A school that installs Dón on its premises runs it on its own machine. Its licence is checked offline: we sign it once, and the installation reads it back on its own, without ever calling us.

What that costs us is accepted, and we say it beforehand: a licence cannot be revoked remotely, it expires. Software a vendor can shut down from the outside is not software you sell to a school.

The three ways to host it
  1. The licence is checked on site Signed once, read back by the installation, with no call to the vendor.
  2. The register is taken without a network On the teacher's phone as well as on the office computer.
  3. Everything syncs when the connection returns Nothing to re-enter, nothing lost along the way.

The ways in

Four doors, one piece of software

The back office

Management, accounting, the office. This is where everything is decided.

The teachers' app

Roll call, marks and lessons, from the classroom.

The family portal

Parents follow their children without calling the office.

The desktop application

For a school installed on its own hardware.

Pricing

What it costs

A price per pupil and per month, by cycle — per head or by tier. A year is paid as ten months and served as twelve: a school of eighty pupils and a group of three thousand are not paying for the same service.

The network drops, the school carries on
